[Thinkpad] 600X vs. X30 build quality

Hello,

after looking at some Thinkpads the X30 became really interesting...but I
did not manage yet to experience on live and hands-on. So, my question is:
how does the build quality of the X30 compare to the Thinkpad 600 series?
I know IBM dropped the covers on all the ports.
