By update, you mean the firmware? I'll get myself to Target
pronto! Didn't see this in their flyer!

Yes of course, I guess I was wondering whether there's a benefit to
investing in a USB access point for a guest's notebook, rather than
keeping a wireless PCMCIA card on hand for that purpose.

Reading their site last night, I think I've discovered the Belkin
router includes three RJ-45 ports, so I probably don't need the PCI
card anyway, assuming the desktop is in the same room as the
cable/DSL modem.

PCI card was/is free with purchase of PCMCIA card (which was U$40
after rebate).
And here's a dumb question, I've been trying to research these
devices (during my can-return period) and I'm trying to figure out
if there's a limit on how many wireless notebook cards can coexist
on the network (sharing the cable or DSL feed) at the same time.
The Belkin site talks about having a 3-port wired hub for wired
devices (so I may not have much use for that wireless PCI adapter)
but it isn't clear whether I'm limited to 253 wireless devices, or
1, or what.
Thanks!
