I've always installed Win98 without the Windows Scripting Host on the
theory that I'm not smart enough to use scripting but many virus writers
are.
Does this make sense?
I also use Netscape instead of I.E. but that's more on theological
grounds and habit.
I dislike the idea that IE doesn't really clear your cache when you tell
it to (it keeps a duplicate in a hidden file), this is offensive from a
privacy standpont as well as a disk space standpoint (I've only got 4 Gb
to play with).
