Thanks Peter, we went to the Target in Deerfield Beach (FL) and
there were shelf tags for both the desktop and laptop versions at
U$100, but no sign of stock. Their customer service called a
couple of other stores and they either didn't have it or denied it.
;)
I tried calling a couple of other stores but no one answered.
Guess they were busy. Their inter-store inventory checking shuts
off at 6pm Fridays for the weekend, I might go back on Monday and
ask, but no way will I drive around "just in case". FWIW, the
"temporary price cut" (not a sale, so no raincheques) started Dec 8
and runs until Dec 28, according to the tags.
Thanks for the pointer! I'll probably stick with the Belkin from
OfficeMax although FutureShop had a router cheaper last week (I
think), CompUSA has a _wired_ cable/DSL router on sale starting
20/12 for U$20 (not that I need one but it's a sign of the future),
and maybe the OfficeMax deal won't look so good by the time I get
home around Jan 8?
