Has anyone rebuilt TP600 batteries? The latest "All Electronics" catalog
has the cells listed as #BTE-1200, $3.50 each cell. I opened one of my
duds and this battery has the same dims. The TP600 bat. takes 6 cells. In
parallel 2+2+2=6. My concern is the complex printed circuitry may have to
reset by some secret device. Has anyone tried it? $21.00 is cheap if
workable. Not too long ago someone on this group said he was converting
one to NiMH's. I never heard how that turned out.
