The 770ED is supposed to include an MPEG decoder card.

But, the drivers really only work under Win98 with the IBM supplied player
and to some degree Win2000 with the Microsoft Player No support under WinXP.

And I had problems with overheating (movie with glitch and flake out after an
hour or two).

If you are looking for a way to play DVDs at home, pick up a separate "hook
up to the TV" DVD player for $50. Plenty of them on sale lately.
