I hadn't heard of that, so thanks! And thanks also to STeve Andre'
for the tips on better security. I'll look into both, but I have
bigger problems...

I re-downloaded the manual version, unzipped it, and then use the
Management Utility to send the file (a .dlf, if I recall correctly
-- writing this on my ThinkPad but I did it from my desktop) to the
router. The "power" light started blinking as the documentation
said it would for a minute or so (and the desktop couldn't
communicate with it, again as documented).

FIFTEEN minutes later it was still blinking so I went to bed. This
morning it was still blinking so I hit the reset button. Now the
power light is a solid orange (not good). Since the desktop can't
communicate with it, I can't use the utility to reset router or
restore defaults, I held in the reset button for ten seconds to
restore factory defaults, still no response.

Neither the desktop (wired) nor ThinkPad (wireless) can see it (by
pointing browser at default 192.168.2.1 nor at the IP address I
changed it to), and the MS Broadband Utility doesn't offer managing
it as an option.

Help!
Thanks!
