  I put a 6GB HDD in my 760EL, maxed out the RAM to 104MB, and run W2K. All works great (except int. modem, which I don't use anyway). The sound is good and it does work fine with W2K. Upgrade BIOS, load all the specific drivers, and do a clean install of the OS, no need for restore disks.
