I just got a new CDRW drive for a TP600e slim drive bay, it's a Sony
CRX700E, and I find that the CD tray is popping open at random times when
the drive is idle and not in use. The latch seems quite secure and I can
not tease the drive open when it doesn't have a mind to do it by itself,
so I guess this is electrical or driver related, not a mechanical issue.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to stop this, short of using a piece of
Scotch tape?
