I don't know what a moderator would add. So far, everyone plays nice and there is a huge amount of tech knowledge shared.

I also don't mind the occassional note that someone has a tpad for sale. I might get upset if 'foreignors' broke in and swamped us, or we got a bunch of spam.

i am not insane enough to want to "moderate" this group. it would be an
*absurd* amount of work for the person who decided they wanted to take it
on - probably in the neighborhood of more-than-ten-hours per week, not
something that many of us would do for free.

this is one of those things like "what should the reply-to setting for a
list be" - highly political and not universally wanted.
