a) Yes, the 560-series uses the coated screws.
b) No harm except you might lose them over time.

Get the "Screw Kit", P/N 12J0808 Costs $2.90, comes with assorted screws:
2x3 2.5x4 2.5x5 2x12 3x3.
If you need other screws, call Technical Support at 800-772-2227 and try to
get the P/N for the other kits.
