[Thinkpad] TP 310ED CMOS/RTC battery

The CMOS/RTC battery in my elderly Thinkpad 310ED appears to have
failed. I can't figure out how to replace it, though.

Item #16 is the battery but I can't locate it on my machine. Can anyone help?

I found an online retailer apparently selling a CR1220 watch battery as a
replacement.
