Ah silly me ...
Even I (German living in Canada ) too often think US centric...
tsk ..tsk
Yes we have had good luck with Orinocos on Thinkpads , Dells and Compaq 's.
I just ordered the Dell version ..
The Gold and Siver BTW are the same ...other than the silly 48/64 bit vs 128
bit WEB thing.
And even that is not quite true .
For the last year and a bit they are exactly the same.
Reflash the often cheaper Silver and it's suddenly a Gold !
LOL
The other issue you are having ...the card working fine in two other lappy
and not in the X22 .
Very odd.
Disable Power Mngt for the card .
Disable it for the slot ?
Update it's firmware?
Update the Firmware of the Access point / Router .
Long shot given that the other lappys don't seem to have a problem.
All lappys running the same OS ?
Same Drivers ?
..peter..
