How did you come to choose the APC brand?
I just purchased a clone battery off Ebay in addition to my IBM brand drive
bay as the old main battery was down to minutes.....so far so good but its
only been about a month. I chose based on price & shipping plus power
seller w/huge numbers of pos. feedback...and guessed.
I was also tempted by the sales pitch citing the latest number of IBM brand
batteries. I couldn't find any specific battery testing observations beyond
the talk of the possibility of charger -or battery flaws. Besides, testing
would require establishing some protocols...and on and on....
