I'm giving up on the Win2000 which came with my 600x's and want to move to
Windows 98SE with which I'm more familiar and comfortable. The computers
have Microsoft certificates with serial numbers on the computers but they
came used and without the Win98SE either installed or on CD.
I see some "recovery CDs" for sale on ebay but am unsure what I need.
Some offerings mention that they are version 1.0 while others say they are
suitable for 400-500MHz systems.
Could someone please explain exactly what CDs I will need to do a clean
new install of Win98SE to both a 500MHz and a 650MHz Thinkpad 600X.
