Hello,
You may have to place a "1" in front of the phone number in order for
it to work. It is a regional area code, not a toll-free number like
800 numbers.
My T23 came with one 256MB PC133 SODIMM manufactured by Crucial. The
maximum amount of RAM is 1GB (2x512MB). For some reason, Crucial's
web site lists 512MB as the maximum amount of memory and only offers a
128 and 256MB SODIMMs for the 2648. Kingston does offer a 512MB SODIMM,
part no. KTM-TP133/512. Cost is $158 including second day shipping
direct from Kingston. It seems to work fine without any compatibility
problems with the Crucial SODIMM.
I moved things around a little inside the case. The 512MB SODIMM went
in the first socket and I moved the 256MB SODIMM to the second socket,
just in case the T23 is one of those computers which likes to have its
highest capacity memory modules installed in the first socket.
Regards,
Aryeh Goretsky
