Hi All
Thanks to all who replied on and off the list. I must have been trying too
hard to use the DM2000 program. After several replies and some thought I
put the new disk into the A20 and only prepared and formatted one
partition, a 3GB to use for 98Lite, "My Files" and Eudora only. I then
loaded 98Lite and the "scandisk" only checked that partition. Then I put
the disk back in the A20 and partitioned and formatted the rest of the
40GB. This all worked. I used Partition Magic for the partition work and
I think everything is as it should be.
