It's the first Txx that features a touchpad in additional to the
trackpoint (on some models). I wouldn't call that an advantage, but I
managed to convince a couple of friends to buy a T30 and they only did it
because of the touchpad.
Also, some T30 models feature built-in Bluetooth, which the T2x haven't
got.
