[Thinkpad] wireless not working instantly on resume (from standby -- winxp)

I have a Thinkpad T30 2366-B2U (integrated Intel wireless) -- anyways, when I resume from standby in WinXP my internet seems to not work anymore... it used to be perfectly fine so I'm not sure whats causing it now. When it resumes from standby, all the signal strength meters & IBM Access connection looks fine, but the internet doesn't work. Basically to get the internet working again the steps I go through are:
1) Wake laptop up from suspend
2) Disconnect my location (I use the IBM Access Connections)
3) Connect to the same location again
This only started recently, that is why I ask what is wrong... before opening it up from suspend would be perfectly fine.... anyone have this problem too or knows how to fix it please chime in.
