[Thinkpad] IBM T20 needs Ethernet

Hello --

We have an IBM T20 laptop for daughter going to college. The machine
has
only a 56K modem; she will need Ethernet connection for dorm and lab
use.

What options do people recommend to add Ethernet capability to the
machine?

Can this part of the machine be replaced, or should we look for a
PCMCIA card?

Are any such cards "combo" types, which have Firewire or USB 2.0 as
well as Ethernet?
