[Thinkpad] AT/XT Keyboard on a T23

Hi all.

I'd like to use à 1989 IBM made kbd on my T23, but it doesn't seem to wotk.
I've bought the Din-MiniDin (or AT-PS/2) connector to plug the kbd into the
Thinkpad's PS/2 port.

On boot, the Kbd's 3 lights just start blinking and the machine can't get
past the "IBM" screen.
Booting resumes once I unplug the kbd.
If I plug the kbd once W2K has booted, nothing happens (no lights, no
nothing)

The person I bought the kbd from tested it on a desktop machine, it works
fine.

I'd appreciate any help or advice.
