Subject: [Thinkpad] Charging Palm from USB?

I've been charging my Clie 425 with the USB cable from Brando workshop in Hong-Kong. (They also have great screen protections, and believe me you _need_ a screen protection)
It works very well. The only slight disadvantage of charging over USB is that USB supplies 5V
while the Cli‚ would prefer 5.1 V hence longer charging time and a the charge seems to be just a tad shorter than on the cradle.
I've been alternating the two charging methods for 1 year now and did not witness so far any decrease in the operating time of the Cli‚.

hope this helps.
