Hi,
I have a think pad T20 which just won't boot. The system was left on for
about 2 days total and then wouldn't start when pressing the power on
button, which usually brings it our of hibernation. It was suggested to me
to remove the battery and ac adapter and then hold down the power button
for a few minutes as this would discharge the capacitor. I did this but no
change. When I power on the machine all lights flash initially then the
power light and the battery light remain on but nothing happens. The
screen remains blank, the fan comes on and I think there is a noise of some
HD activity but then all goes quiet and nothing more occurs.
Any help/advice would be gratefully appreciated.
Regards
Barry
p.s. The OS is Win 2000 and I'm not sure what level the Bios is.
