[Thinkpad] Best 570 to buy used?

I am thinking of picking up a ThinkPad 570 with base to use as a traveling
laptop for web and email. This machine would only get light use with
applications like Word. It would definitely not be a development machine
but I would like to be able to use it as a test machine and run Windows XP.

What variant should I consider?
What should such a machine in fine condition cost?
Does anyone have one?
Can anyone recommend a good supplier?
Would there still be a warranty from IBM?
