Hi
Firstly, thanks for all the help with my last query regarding my
friend's 560 ...
I'm thinking about buying a ThinkPad to use as my day-to-day machine ...
The main programs I use are:
* Dreamweaver MX
* Photoshop 6.1
* Office XP (inc. Outlook)
OS: Windows XP Pro SP1
I was wondering what sort of spec I should be aiming for to ensure
everything doesn't grind to a halt when I'm working ... :o\
As an example, my current workstation is a Cel 300 with 256MB RAM and
isn't too bad, so long as I don't open lots of programs at the same time
...
My budget is quite small (below £500) ... is this do-able?
All help gratefully received!
Thanks
Nick
