While certainly this is true the possibility is remote. If the lightening
struck your house the TP could be toast as well, bios or no bios.
Requiring a battery to flash the bios is somewhat akin to requiring a UPS
to flash the bios in a desktop machine. Both are a good idea, but neither
should be absolutely required.
So does anyone know the procedure for the 600? The file names have changed
and I'd rather not guess with somene else's machine.
