     I'm so far behind with the latest stuff I don't even know what this is,
what its pros and cons are, or anything. Any way I can find out the basics
about it?
     Are they rewriteable? Are they magnetic like disks? Are they fast? What
about compatibility problems with hardware and operating system? (And so on.)
