[Thinkpad] PS2 Utility Oddness?

I upgraded my BIOS recently on my TP 600 and all was well for the most part.
I was dual booting between Windows XP and Slackware 9.0 when I noticed that
the OSS drivers for the cs4232 cards would work ONLY if I didn't boot into
windows (unless I cold booted the system). So I installed the ALSA drivers,
set up the parameters and rebooted. Some odd reason, my BIOS data got reset,
so I went into Windows XP to use the PS2 utility to set my resources for my
sound card.

Now here's the problem. PS2.EXE, before, would allow me to do "PS2 Audio DMA
1 0", so the first dma channel would be 1, and the second would be 0. Now,
whenever I do that, I still get it's default setting of 0, 1 instead of 1,0.
Has anyone seen this? I've tried various commands to try and revert it back
to what I had it set before, with no results and no ability to force these
resources.
