Hello all,
I am writing this mail on web because my Thinkpad T22 is not working
anymore. Luckily it is under guarantee.
It was like that:
I upgraded from 20 to 30 Gb disk.
Few day of stabile working and than I shut down TP on one location and tried
to startup on another, but...
there were several messages from BIOS: time/date was reset, PCIs were
disabled and finally "Hard disk not installed, press any key to continue"
:o(((.
After I entered BIOS I updated time/date, enabled PCIs and tried to enable
other device to boot. Everything was OK except TP was not recognizing other
device to boot from. In BIOS, whatever I performed, list of boot devices was
the same without any under hard disks. Tried several times with floppy or CD
rom but always list was the same.
Please give some suggestion what can be the problem.
Update: IT LOADS with BIOS default :o))))))))))). But still intrigued what
can be the problem. Do I have transportable computer anymore or not?
Gordan
