I'm having a problem with a Thinkpad 770z I bought off ebay. Whenever I
turn it on, I get a password prompt. I googled for a way around this (the
seller gave me a password, but it didn't seem to work), but all the
solutions seem to involve soldering, which intimidates me a little.
Have any of you successfully removed a password from a 770z bios?
Are heavy-duty soldering skills necessary?
