What seems to be happening? I have that exact same model of machine personally and at work (3 of that model at work with various ultrabase
configurations). I'm more than willing to help as much as I can (sorry I don't have access to any preload CD's).

There is the device driver matrix for the 570/570E. The trick is to make sure you get the support files and
install those too. They have registry entries that are required. Those are the first things I generally load.

I love my 570E. I take just the laptop itself to the library or to a coffee house to work on it and it's nice to have something
so light.
