[Thinkpad] 770z password redux

Thanks to everyone who replied, and apologies for asking what is evidently
a loaded question. (As it happens, I'm not a thief, my email address is
legitimate and easily trackable, and I've been subscribed for 3 months,
which I hope dispenses with the understandable suspicion.)

I've emailed the original vendor, and I'm hoping that the milk of human
kindness will work its magic.
