did not see this thread earlier..

but..

removing bios battery will not remove a supervisor
password..
and if it is a power on password, it should NOT remove it..
but you can go through the power on pswd removal procedure
to remove that pswd..

get the HMM and look it up.. should be there..

no one will steal a770Z these days..
an A31p maybe or a T40..
but not a 770Z..
