Which brings up the related question: assuming recovery disks are at hand
and Drive Image backups are made regularly, is there any inherent reason to
retain the recovery partition (in my case, on a T30)? Does anyone have
experience operating with this partition absent? I'd be happy to get back
another 5% of my HD.

Thanks!!!

Mike
