D: seems to claim 'invalid drive' also.
Tried D, E, F, G, H...
It doesn't seem to want to recognize the CD-ROM here.
The system takes exactly 17 seconds to bootup from power on. And the
floppy is inserted. Probably spins. But it doesn't seem to pay
attention to it.
I did copy the APMINST.INF file, as the link instructed.
If I use that floppy in a desktop, the desktop does boot from the
floppy. Not this laptop. Might you guys have any other advice?
