 The P4 T30's being blown out now are somewhat close to what you want, if
you can accept the 14" screen (1400x1050) and the need to remove the
installed RAM to get to 1 GB RAM.

I recently got a very similar model and I couldn't be happier with it.
Build quality and 'feel' seems very good. Only thing I think I might miss
down the road is USB 2.0/firewire but the PC-CARD slot is free and cards are
cheap.

I am planning to upgrade. I have not decided if I should upgrade my desktop
(cheaper) or laptop.

I have TP T22 @ 1.0 GHz. I would like to go above 2 Ghz. Which model TP
would give me at least a 15" screen, 2 Ghz CPU, 1 GB RAM, decent video (I do
lots of photographic work, no gaming or video).

Am I sniffing something thinking I can get at TP fitting this setup for
<$2000. I currently have a 60 GB hard drive I would be willing to switch.

Suggestions appreciated.
