I've had an A31p now for a year, and it is the most lovely
laptop I know of. It isn't small with its 15" display, and
its heavy, but I use my backpack as an exercise device...
You can get 2G A31p's for about $2400 I was going to say,
but I just went to the A series web page at ibm.com, and
there aren't any! So dealers will be dumping them soon
on Ebay, I'm sure.
Bruce is right about the refurb units; the good news is that I've
seen units with and without warranty lately.
The A31p is an awesome laptop.
