I managed to have my T22's battery replaced under warranty by IBM. After
less than 6 months of use, it lasted no more than one hour and a half
and the IBM product features page showed it lasted around 3 hours.
I found, reading the IBM site, that they used BatteryMark 4.01 to
calculate the announced 3 hours duration.
So I was lucky enough to find it on the Internet and downloaded the same
version of the tool (~ 40 MB) and used it to measure my battery
duration. When it proved to be half the advertised time after less than
six months of use, I called them with the results and they changed it (I
received one new battery the day after my phone call and they took back
the "old" one...8-))
I have now the new battery for about 9 months. It's charge's counter is
50 (I mostly use the T22 plugged on the main, with no battery in it.).
The design capacity is 38.88 Wh and the information shows that the
actual capacity is 38.43, so quite no difference!
Hope it helps!
Regards,
Bernard
