[Thinkpad] x40?

According to one web site, the x40 will be launched in the US in February
(http://www.gizmodo.com/archives/011474.php). Another site says the price
in yen converted US$ is about $1740
(http://www.leog.net/fujp_forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4184)

Anyone know if this is accurate or have any more information?

although the Sony vaio TR2 seems tempting
