The frustrating thing is that the R50p is really cool in so many
respects: faster CPU, more memory, less power consumption,
more WIFI formats, faster ethernet, USB 2. I'll assume that a
DVD roaster will be available if not out already.

But isn't three spindles. I am really disappointed. So the question
is do I forsake the ability to have two accessories for all the
other goodies, or do I wait and hope that a more capable
workstation comes out? Sigh. I've mentioned this to two
other people who I introduced ThinkPads to, and they're
disappointed as well.

Hmm. I wonder where would be a good place to send email
to at IBM about this? Anyone know of a person who might
actually listen?
