[Thinkpad] 14.1" SXGA for T2x series

Hello,

I have recently purchased a 256MB upgrade for my T21 (total of 384MB) and a
1GHz PIII-M (100MHz bus, don't worry, didn't get a 133 bus :-) to upgrade
the 800MHz processor, may as well begin to max it out,

One thing remains is the potential for the SXGA 14.1" LCD (1400x1050). What
is this like on the T21/22? (S3 Savage IX with 8mb). I plan to use it that
resolution in 16bit depth on XP. Is the refresh good, no lag? Will DVDs
play just as fast despite bigger screen size, ie: XGA vs SXGA, and finally,
is the display clear and easy enough to work with?

The main question however is whether SXGA displays from a T23 or T30 are
compatible with a T21, or does it have to be a T21 (T20? T22?) specific SXGA
LCD display? What models are known to work in a T21, as I have seen the odd
Samsung SXGA LCD panel.

Any help will be gratefully received,
Vicky
