the newest iteration is the p-5020. Rather appealing, other than screen
size and keyboard.

I'm starting to think I might be better off with an x40 for daily use
(assuming they come with a 40gb or bigger drive) and an ultrabase or usb
DVD for traveling.

any recommended USB or firewire DVD (or DVD / CD-RW)? Do these work well
from notebook power?
