[Thinkpad] 365XD memory upgrade

I am having problems upgrading a ThinkPad 365XD with an additional 64 MB of
EDO RAM. When I installed the memory and restarted the computer it
indicates a total of only 40 MB instead of 72 MB but it displays no errors
and Windows 95 starts up and runs with no problems. However when I run the
memory test in Easy-Setup it shows the following error:

DEV 002
ERR 83
FRU 2010

I have no clue what it's indicating and can't find the error in the
documentation I have. Any help would be appreciated.
