[Thinkpad] 1400x1050 True Color problems (on T30)

Hi,

had some display problems recently so i updated the ATI drivers.
Unfortunately, now I cannot enable True Color under 1400x1040. Whenever I
try to, resolution is set lower to 1280x1024; when I increase the
resolution, color quality is reduced to High Color. I am currently expanding
my display to a connected TFT which runs under 1280x1024 True Color. Any
ideas? Oh, I do currently not have any specific IBM display entry in
monitors. Just plug'n'play-device entered there. Any help would be
appreciated as I think that True Color was possible before.
