Hello,
I was wondering if indeed there was a 1.4GHz PIII-m part?
as per:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3451866796&category=14292
It appears to be the 133FSB/512KB L2 variant, Tualatin core (as per
866-1200MHz parts). I tried looking on Intel's website but there seems to
be little mention; bar a reference to the code in a PIII spec PDF, but no
reference to the speed.
A 1.4GHz part is listed but I am unsure of whether it is indeed a mobile
part.
I ask as a friend with a T23, 1.13GHz machine spotted this and wondered if
he could replace his exisisting PIII part; for this item or one like it.
After all a PIII-M with tualatin core is still a pretty damn fine processor
by my reckoning and the 1.4GHz part with the 512KB L2 cache could give the
slower Pentium 4's a run for their money.
Any ideas I can pass on?
Many thanks,
Vicky.
