You're right: the PIII is a lot faster. A 1.2Ghz PIII is the same speed
within a few percent of a 1.8GHz P4. I really hate the P4 in my A31p.
A relentless power hogg.
I've seen a few 1.4GHz parts mentioned, and one reference to a 1.5GHz
part via a hardware friend, but have never seen one physically.
If your friend manages to get such a part and installs it, please post
that. Would be cool to know.
