Ok, I think I have some answers now! Remember this is not me doing this,
I'm quite happy with my 800Mhz T21 :-) I shall let him know he is better
off getting more memory and a bigger faster hard disk, as I shall imagine
the 30gb unit (I think it is, or it may be 20gb) is a 4200rpm device, and
that he should look for a 7200rpm device.
I'm not sure why he is particularly bothered, his T23 was faster than my
T21, but mainly because he has 512MB on Win XP Pro and I have 192MB on Win
XP Pro. (time to get more, shame it's PC100 in my case!).
