I also have heard of some T30 having problems but
I had no problems to change but noticed the following:

While exchanging in the first bank (256 to 512MB) was no problem,
the second bank needed a firmer pressure to be seated correct !

Just compare its seating with the one already fixed in there !

Friend of mine has installed second 256 MB ram chip, total 512 MB, but
T30
can recognize only 256 MB.

We have exchanged with the same as was inside and memory is working in
first
slot. Any experience with this problem?
