    I have an odd problem. My 600x works fine with w2k. But if I install XP,
    it hangs regularly. The hanging can be solved by pressing the function key
    and one of the sound keys (up, down, mute). But the hang ocurrs again.
    This is on a new installation of XP.
    
    Any solutions/comments most welcome.
