Hi Phil,
Id be surprised if fair wear and tear is included in any Thinkpad
warranty. iI the keys still work ok then you would be pushing your luck
and not playing fair in my opinion.
I have an A21P as well, lovely machine, I use it as a desktop
replacement so use it with an external keyboard. There only a couple of
pounds here in the UK so ill hammer those to death and preserve the
laptop keyboard.
